Incredible Years courses Term 3, 2022

PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW CAREFULLY

As our courses are always in high demand we need to prioritise those parents who have the highest need. To do this we need information from you. Please email us to tell us which course you are interested in attending, and answer the questions below:

  1. Which course would you like to attend ?
  2. What is your vaccination status?
  3. Do you have a community services card?
  4. Does your child have a diagnosis?
  5. Has your partner or other whanau attended the Incredible Years course ?
  6. Are there other support agencies involved with your whanau?
  7. What are your child’s behaviours you find challenging ?
  8. Is there anything else you think is important for us to know ?

Once we have worked through the applications, we will then get back to you to let you know if we can confirm you on the course.

INCREDIBLE YEARS GENERAL COURSE

This 14 week course is for whanau with children 3–8 years old. It is designed to develop positive family relationships and empower parents to make changes and to manage difficult behaviour.

INCREDIBLE YEARS AUTISM COURSE

This 14 week course is to help children who have behaviours on the Autism Spectrum and have language delay or social difficulties. This course is funded by the Ministry of Education for children 2–5 years.
Children do not need to have a formal diagnosis.
Interviews with parents about the course.
